Marsh Gives Golfers Something to Croak About
12 Jan 2004

It's no surprise that a buzz is already spreading about Victoria's newest and most distinctively named public access golf course.

Due for opening April 2004, the Growling Frog Golf Course has a lot to be excited about.

Named after the indigenous Growling Grass Frog, this is the first Victorian course to be designed by renowned golf course designer, Graham Marsh. Skilfully crafted, this 18 hole masterpiece is set to impress.

With a brief to design a course that maximises the land's natural attributes and puts a smile on the face of every player, from avid golfer to beginner, Marsh has delivered, then some.

Located just 30 kilometres north of Melbourne in Yan Yean, the Growling Frog Golf Course is nestled on 280 acres of picturesque, gently undulating land; more than twice the area of many Melbourne courses.

As you would expect from a course designed by Graham Marsh, the clubhouse, restaurant, pro-shop, spike bar, and driving range are also first-class. A small vineyard and a number of unique heritage sites including bluestone buildings and rock walls on site adds additional appeal.

Offering the highest quality course design and challenges for every golfer at an affordable price, Growling Frog Golf Course looks poised to take its place as one of Australia's premier public access golf courses.
