"I believe the Growling Frog Golf Course is set to become one of Australia's premier public access golf courses, rivalling many of Victoria's exclusive private golf clubs."

Graham Marsh

For many, Graham Marsh is revered as an Australian golfing legend; winner of more than 60 international tournaments, champion of The Australian Masters and PGA Tours, and a successful competitor on all five of the major international golf tours.

In recent times Graham's reputation as a master golf course designer has surpassed even his exceptional golfing record, and along with the team at Graham Marsh Golf Design, he is celebrated world-wide for his expertise in golf course architecture.

Internationally, Graham is responsible for the design of many highly regarded, award-winning golf courses. In Australia, Sydney's Terrey Hills Golf and Country Club, Palm Meadows in Queensland, and Western Australia's The Vines and Secret Harbour are amongst the courses that proudly bear the Graham Marsh Golf Design name.

The Growling Frog Golf Course is the first course in Victoria to be designed by Graham Marsh and his team.

The brief for the Growling Frog was to design a course to maximise the land's natural attributes and challenge every player, from avid golfer to beginner.

"The design utilises the unique qualities of the Australian countryside including the magnificent existing River Red Gum trees. Many of these trees are over 300 years old, creating a serene and inspiring setting and providing golfers with a truly unique experience.

"Strategically placed bunkers, first class Santa Ana couch fairways and pure bent grass greens built to USGA standards, provide a superior playing experience.

"The City of Whittlesea has dedicated itself over the last three years to ensure this development is of the highest standard and I am thrilled and proud to be associated with it," says Graham Marsh.
